I gave a seminar at the giCentre, City St George’s, University of London, titled “Socio-technical Aspects and Opportunities for Research in Science Museums.”

In the talk, I presented my research on collaboration, authorship, and credit in the development of interactive exhibits in science museums. I discussed how interactive and data-driven museum experiences are often shaped by many people, practices, and technologies, while the work behind them can remain largely invisible to visitors.

The seminar also explored science museums as a rich context for visualization and HCI research, especially for thinking about how public understandings of science, expertise, and participation are shaped through design.
